It needs the right block
An infinity pool works where there is a view to vanish into and usually a fall in the land - an elevated block in the foothills, or a site that looks out over a valley or the city. On a flat block with neighbours close by, the effect is lost.
It is a concrete, custom build
The vanishing edge, the catch basin below it and the engineering to make the water sit perfectly level all mean an infinity pool is a custom concrete build. It is not a fibreglass shell job. Budget accordingly - it sits at the higher end of pool cost.
The engineering is the hard part
The edge has to be dead level for the effect to work, the catch basin has to handle the overflow, and an additional pump circulates the water back up. This is specialist work - the builder needs genuine infinity-pool experience, not just a willingness to try.
Worth matching carefully
Because an infinity pool is specialised, it is worth being matched specifically with builders who have built them before. Tell us it is an infinity pool you want and we will connect you with the right builders for fixed-price quotes.
